HTC One mini Specifications and Price in Pakistan
HTC One mini Review
After the popularity of Samsung Galaxy 4 Mini, HTC is striving for dominance by introducing One Mini. The qualities of the smartphone are not as refined as the phenomenal HTC One, but it does maintain the company's reputation by bringing a set of excellent features.
The phone has 16GB internal memory, 4G networking, an 1800 mAh battery and much more. Let’s see what else HTC One Mini is offering in its efforts to stir the tech world.
Appealing Design & Size
The 5.20 inches long One Mini is only slightly smaller than its 5.41 inches elder sibling. At the first glance, you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the two handsets as their design follows almost the same pattern. However, a closer look will reveal the details which make the present device different from its predecessor.
Firstly, the touchscreen is 0.4 inches smaller. However, going from 4.7 to 4.3 inches does not seem like a disappointing loss—the new phone still looks impressive. Moreover, it is also a little thinner as the manufacturers have reduced the thickness from 9.3 mm in One to 9.25 mm. So, it will be even more delightful to hold this thin handset and be able to use it with a single hand.
However, the body is not entirely metal. Although the back is made of the premium aluminum which brings class to all HTC phones, the edges at the front and the sides of the gadget consist of polycarbonate. Despite this plastic, the quality of the phone does not seem cheap. So overall, HTC has once again managed to combine quality and ease-of-handling in another one of its smartphones.
HD Display
The Mini version does not bring you the top quality display which its predecessor possessed. Instead of an impressive 469 PPI, there is now 342 PPI of pixel density along with 720 x 1280 pixels. Even with this comparatively low resolution, the handset brings you an appreciable display with 16M colors and an exciting Super LCD2 capacitive touchscreen. Plus, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 brings a really delightful final touch.
All these specifications produce a decent display for the phone despite its smaller screen size.
HDR Videos Camera
UltraPixel is the technology which HTC is now incorporating in all of its top-notch smartphones. Users can enjoy great results even for low-light shoots. One Mini’s 4MP camera uses the same technology to help users shoot the best photos ever. Therefore, even though there are a few megapixels to capture details, the greater amount of light passing through this camera’s 1/3 inches sensor ensures remarkable clarity and brightness for all your memorable pictures. The camera uses LED flash, autofocus and smile detection features as its supporting tools while taking pictures.
At the same time, HDR videos can be recorded with 1080p@30fps. The camera at the front is not bad either. There are 1.6 megapixels for your self-portraits and video chatting.
Operating System and Processor
The performance of any phone depends on its software and processing power. In the case of One Mine, you will find both to be the best. The latest 4.2.2 version of Jelly Bean runs along with HTC Sense user interface. However, 1.4 GHz is lower than the 1.7 GHz of One. Even One S beats Mini with its 1.5 GHz. Still, the phone is not at all disappointing with its dual-core Krait 300 processer and Snapdragon 400 chipset.
Bottom Line
One Mini is definitely one of the most decent smartphones the company has ever produced. A classy outlook with satisfying features inside makes this phone a success.
